Mrs. Berry was born and raised in Wisconsin where she attended St. Paul’s Lutheran grade school and high school in Grafton. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education (concentrations in curriculum/instruction and art) from Concordia University, River Forest, IL and her Masters degree in 1996 in elementary education with a specialization in early childhood from Western Illinois University. Since 1974, she has been teaching in Lutheran schools in Wisconsin, Illinois, and since 1984 at Trinity, Davenport, IA.
Mrs. Berry has attended and led many Early Childhood workshops and classes throughout her professional life. She has also been part of district school committees and was the ECH Consultant for IDE for 6 years. She is actively involved in all facets of school and church life in a variety of children, family, and adult experiences. In 2000, she was honored with the Lutheran Educator of the Year Award from Iowa District East (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod).
Mrs. Berry believes, “Every child is a unique child of God with special qualities that need to be learned and used to glorify God. Using what God has given us is a process and not just a product, which includes a balanced education in all developmental areas; spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and academic.”
Mrs. Berry has two grown daughters, Jolene and Jonell.

Mrs. Pauling was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and attended Evansville Lutheran School from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Mrs. Pauling attended Concordia University, River Forest and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Music. She was blessed to begin her teaching career at Immanuel Lutheran School in Alexandria, Virginia, where she taught a combined 1st and 2nd grade classroom for one year and kindergarten for seven years. She just completed her Master’s in Early Childhood Education through Concordia University Chicago.
Mrs. Pauling enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, and their dog, Mya, reading, and playing piano.

Mrs. Hussong grew up in southern Illinois and attended Trinity Lutheran School in Edwardsville from K-8th grade. After grade school she attended Metro-East Lutheran High School, and participated in many activities she loved. She graduated from Concordia University, River Forest where she played softball and learned to love her teaching classes.
Since college, Mrs. Hussong has been very involved with Trinity School and Church. She is in her fourteenth year in the teaching ministry at Trinity, having taught both first and third grade. She has coached volleyball, basketball, track, and softball at the elementary level. She currently serves on several committees, including the Iowa District East Board of Directors, and enjoys singing in the church choir.
Mrs. Hussong stays busy at home gardening and working around the house with her husband, Matt, whom she married in June of 2011.

Mr. Ullman attended Evansville Lutheran School in Evansville, Indiana through eighth grade and graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (2005) in elementary education with a major in Social Studies from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan. After graduating from Concordia, he received his first Call to Trinity Lutheran School, Davenport.
Mr. Ullman married Laura (Vogler) Ullman on July 2, 2011. Mrs. Ullman currently teaches third grade at Trinity. He is involved in several activities in the church, including singing in the choir, playing men's softball/basketball, and attending bible study.
Mr. Ullman keeps busy by spending time with family and friends as well as rooting for his favorite sports teams.

Ms. Shoumaker has taught in a variety of schools and grade levels. She was called to Trinity in January of 2009 to finish the year teaching 5th grade. She then taught 5th grade for 2 more years. Currently she is teaching 2nd grade and hopes to remain at this level for a long time.
Ms. Shoumaker loves Trinity and the family oriented environment. She is very thankful that she gets to spend her days teaching and loving God's precious children.

Mrs. Duling was baptized and confirmed at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant, Iowa. She attended school in Wilton, Iowa through seventh grade and graduated from West High School in Davenport in 1977. She attended the University of Iowa for two years after high school, moved home, and was married to Casey Duling at Trinity Lutheran Church in 1980.
After working eight years for an advertising agency , Mrs. Duling returned to college to finish acquiring her Elementary Education degree. She was a substitute teacher in the Davenport public schools and at Trinity Lutheran for two years after graduation, then became a stay-at-home-mom with her three young children. While her first child was in public grade school, she was the PTA secretary and maintained the school’s newsletter. While her son was in 4th grade, prayer was answered regarding where to send him to Junior High. Trinity was his announced choice, and the two siblings followed that path, along with the new life for Robin as Sunday School teacher, a second stint as a Trinity substitute, eventually a 3-year-old PS teacher, and now a Kindergarten teacher!
Mrs. Duling has served many years for Vacation Bible Camp and Women’s Ministries at Trinity, and has completed nine years of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) in the Quad Cities. She has also been active in Music Ministry at Trinity every year since 1980, and is the “oldest” member of the Contemporary Worship Team, serving God since it began in the late 1980’s. Mrs. Duling believes that Trinity will always be her home, and she will continue to serve in whatever capacity God calls her.
Mrs. Laura Ullman

Mrs. Ullman attended Little Red Elementary School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin through fifth grade, South Middle School through eighth grade, and graduated from Memorial High School in 1999. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree (2003) in elementary education with a minor in mathematics from Concordia University Wisconsin. She received her first call from Trinity Lutheran School in Davenport, Iowa and began teaching in August. 2003.
Mrs. Ullman married James Ullman, one of Trinity's first-grade teachers, on July 2, 2011. They enjoy playing sand volleyball and watching the Packers together. She also likes to scrapbook, read, play the guitar and sing when she gets the opportunity. She is very excited to serve as a third grade teacher again this year, and also serves as an advisor to the Student Council.

Mr. Holste grew up in Evansville, IN and graduated from Evansville Lutheran School. He and Mr. Ullman have the same alma mater only several years apart. Mr. Holste comes from a long line of teachers and had both of his parents as teachers. He holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from Concordia College in Seward, NE. His teaching experiences include teaching in Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa. He recently served as the committee chairperson for the 2011 Iowa Districts East and West Teachers' Conference.
Mr. Holste has considered himself fortunate to have many milestones in his teaching ministry. From 1986-1993 he taught on the same staff as his parents. He is a past recipient of the Iowa District East Educator of the Year, and has been blessed to have taught with many excellent co-workers who have greatly influenced him. But his biggest joy is seeing students and their families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mr. Holste enjoys traveling and tries to connect that to another passion of his which is visiting major league baseball parks. He is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan! He also enjoys cooking and studying history. Whenever possible he enjoys spending time with his family and especially being with his nieces and nephews. He looks forward to getting to know people in his new Trinity "family" and spending time in worship and Bible study with them.
His favorite saying is, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

Mrs. Bremer is the eldest of five siblings who all grew up in Arlington Hts., a suburb of Chicago. She attended Concordia University Chicago, which was known then as Concordia Teachers College, River Forest.
She has taught in Memphis, TN; subbed in Iroquois County Schools, IL; taught at Immanuel, Rock Island, IL; and Trinity, Davenport. She has been a teacher at Trinity since 1996, during which time she has taught 5th grade and served as Trinity's librarian.
Mrs. Bremer met her husband, John in college and has been married to him for more than 35 years. She has two daughters and one grandson. He is a special joy, and she loves to play with him. She also loves to read, do puzzles and trivia, and scrapbook.
Mrs. Bremer says, "I love the times when I can share my joy of being a forgiven child of God with my students and their parents."

Mrs. Koenig spent her early years in Cedarburg, WI and attended First Immanuel Lutheran School until 5th grade. Her family relocated to Toledo, OH where she attended Trinity Lutheran School through 8th grade. She went to E.L. Bowsher High School for 3 years (1998-2001) and finished up her fourth year by enrolling in the Post-Secondary Program and attended the University of Toledo (2002). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, in 2005, in Elementary Education with a specialization in Theology from Concordia University River Forest. She has been serving at Trinity Lutheran School in Davenport since 2005.
Mrs. Koenig and and her husband, Jeff, have been married since 2006, She loves spending time with her three daughters. She enjoys playing softball, volleyball, reading, and scrapbooking.
